The street where I want to be...

Image
So, where do we all really want to be? On the street where you live ? Nah, not really. We thought it might just be some streets where there are happening places for us to go partying or for bar-going people. Nah, it isn't that as well. Or do we think it might be some streets where shopping haven is, where we can go shopping till we drop? Nah, not that too. It's a special street. So where? Where could it really be? You ask, but you couldn't find that kind street elsewhere on Mother Earth. No man, no nature can ever create that type of street where we would all love to dream of going to. So again you ask, JUST WHAT STREET IS THAT? Now the answer is about to be unveiled. That street is not real, mind you, so it only virtually exists in dreams. It so happened that I had a dream the night before and it was indeed really a total contrast to this morbid one . You know, sometimes dreams can be this bad or anything as strange as this kind . Mine was just as strange as the latter o

The 東京 trip (大阪) - Part 2 of 5

The Shin-Osaka densha eki (train station) is connected to the Tokaido Shinkansen line (東海道新幹線) of Nozomi (のぞみ) type. This line stops at the terminal station, known as Tokyo station (東京駅) . This Tokyo station is huge and there are so many train lines connecting from this station. We knew we had to take the Tokyo Metro train (東京メトロ) of Marunouchi Line (丸ノ内線) to the Ginza station (銀座駅) in order to get to our final destination, the Asakusa station (浅草駅) of the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (銀座線) . However, we got lost and wandered there for some time before we see some signs (I can still read some Kanji, thanks to my reading skill) and then I asked a lady in Japanese. She showed us the way to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (still in Tokyo station). We took the Metro to the very next station, the Ginza station. From this station, we took the Ginza Line to the last station, the Asakusa station. But before we even board the Metro station, we exited the Tokyo station. Let's not waste

The 東京 trip (大阪) - Part 1 of 5

OK, I know this is a rotten blog, as I was supposed to blog this many days ago. Been to Tokyo (東京) on 5th May, almost 2 weeks ago. Guess I am going to back-date this blog, a break of one of my promises in this blog of mine . And so, the first part of the story begins. We took a train from Inadera station (猪名寺駅) to Osaka station (大阪駅) . From there, we took another train to the next station, known as Shin-Osaka station (新大阪駅) . Days before the trip day, we bought the Shinkansen (新幹線) tickets, which cost each of us about 28,000 Yen (about RM866.87) for one return-journey ticket. And of course, we exited the Shin-Osaka station and venture around the new city of Osaka (大阪市) . Here are some pics: OSAKA (大阪) The red circle indicates Osaka in Japanese Kanji. The first post of 2008

Welcome back to your own blog, David The Man. So, I am back blogging now. Well, you see, it's been exactly 4 months since I last post my blog here. I stopped writing back then for several reasons, among them being busy with work and having not much free time to sit down in Starbucks to blog around (I don't have a broadband installed at the place where I rented in Penang, that's why). Now that I have shifted to a new place (an apartment, a place I call my own home), almost one and a half months ago, I think it's time to get a broadband back home the moment I am back from Itami City , near Osaka City in Japan. Speaking of being in Japan, yes, it is indeed an exciting experience to be in Japan for the first time, albeit for 3 months only. I am sent by my company here for the first 3-month training. The parent company I am sent to is known as Mitsubishi-Renesas in Kita-Itami (north of Itami). Itami City is not really a big city, compared to either Kobe or Osaka City. One
